  • Day 02 - (Auckland) / Hawke’s Bay

    For Air New Zealand option, this morning transfer to the airport for your flight. 

    Fly Auckland/Napier NZ 5225 1040/1140 – Except Sun (1h)

     

    Start the day with an exclusive barrel sampling, learn about wine etiquette and tasting technique, tour Church Rd winery and NZ's only wine museum, then continue to the Mission Estate for a wine tasting & two course meal accompanied by matching wines at one of NZ's top restaurants. After lunch, visit the Gimblett Gravels, Ngatarawa Triangle & Dartmoor Valley and a smaller winery as a comparison and opportunity to meet and learn from a winemaker, indulge in gourmet platters with top local produce. A complete wine and gourmet experience!

  • Day 03 - Hawke’s Bay

    Today, have a relaxing day. You might want to bike through vineyards, olive groves, horse studs, orchards and farmland.

  • Day 04 - Hawke’s Bay / Marlborough

    Spend a leisurely morning at the hotel before your transfer to Hawke’s Bay Airport.

  • Day 05 - Marlborough

    Discover the Marlborough Region with winery visits, then travel to the small seaport town of Havelock. Enjoy lunch on the waterfront (this is at your own expense) then depart on the Marlborough Travel launch for the Greenshell Mussel Cruise through the Marlborough Sounds. Visit a Greenshell Mussel Farm and taste a local favourite - freshly steamed mussels matched perfectly with a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Return to your hotel.

  • Day 06 - Marlborough / Christchurch / Queenstown

    Early check-out for your drive back to Blenheim and your flight.

    On arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Located in Central Otago, Queenstown is New Zealand's premier alpine resort with a great choice of recreational activities.

  • Day 07 - Queenstown

    We go on a food and wine tour, sampling local cheeses and tasting premium cool-climate wines. The trip includes tasting at 5 vineyards in the Gibbston Valley, Cromwell and Bannockburn regions and a platter style lunch at Northburn Station's The Shed.

  • Day 08 - Queenstown

    Today you have a choice of half-day, private guided excursion:

    • Take an off-road trip to Macetown, an abandoned former gold mining town with an expert off-road driver-guide. The town is accessible only by a track following the Arrow River; with around 30 river crossings involved, this is definitely “The road less travelled.
    • For Lord of the Rings fans, travel through “Middle Earth” to visit many of the film locations. The scenery is stunning and within easy reach of Queenstown, so even if you haven’t seen the films you will have a great time.
    • Alternatively, you might want to upgrade to a helicopter excursion to Milford Sound. Fly northwest across the Southern Alps and into Fiordland National Park where mountains, fiords, rain forests, lakes and rivers will greet you.

  • Day 09 - Queenstown / Christchurch / Singapore

    Be transferred to Queenstown airport this morning for your flight home.
