Itinerary

  • Day 00/01 - Singapore / Lake Taupo
    Fly SIngapore / Auckland SQ 285 2115/1050+1 – Daily (9h 35m)
      Auckland / Taupo NZ 8093 1210/1300 – Mon, Sat, Sun (50m)
      Or NZ 8093 1250/1340 – Fri (50m)

    Upon arrival, transfer to Huka Lodge, relax for the day. You may try your hands at fly fishing or go on a scenic spa thermal walk to Huka Falls, the largest falls on Waikato River.

  • Day 02 - Lake Taupo
    A full day to explore Central North Island. Board your helicopter flying via the famous Huka Falls, following the Waikato River over the colorful Wai-O-Tapu and Waimangu geothermal regions. Overfly the summit of the dormant and spectacular volcano Mt. Tarawera, revealing the massive rift left by the 1886 eruption.

    En route to Whakatane view the picturesque Tarawera Falls before landing on White Island for a guided walk over the island’s moon like crater floor.

    Continue on south east to Hawke’s Bay, landing at two wineries. Take the opportunity of tasting superior New Zealand wines paired with gourmet dining.

    After lunch, fly west via the beautiful Kaimanawa Forest Park and Mohaka River, search for the Kaimanawa wild horses and you may even spot wild deer. Land next to the crystal clear Rangitikei River and enjoy a walk in the wilderness.

    Return to the lodge via the volcanic activity areas and craters of the spectacular World Heritage Tongariro National Park and the pristine waters of Great Lake Taupo. (Duration: 6-7 hours; lunch included)

  • Day 03 - Lake Taupo
    Today, explore the secluded rock carvings at Mine Bay. On your kayak, paddle below native bush, past steep cliffs and mini inlets (accessible only by kayak) before the amazing 100 metre-high carvings come into view. Learn about the cultural significance of these Maori carvings from your guide. On return, stop for gourmet refreshments, where you can take the opportunity to swim in the clear waters of the beautiful lake. (Duration: 4 hours total / 3 hours on water – double kayak on join-in basis)

  • Day 04 - Lake Taupo / Banks Peninsula
    Transfer to the airport for your private flight to Christchurch.

    On arrival, transfer to your helicopter for a scenic flight around Pigeon Bay before landing at the private helipad of your luxurious beach house for the next 2 days, with a remote and private bay all to yourself.

    Enjoy a guided tour of the Annandale farm, visiting the historic woolshed, seeing livestock up close and experiencing some of the practical sides of a working farm.

  • Day 05 - Banks Peninsula
    Explore Pigeon Bay and the surrounding waters of Banks Peninsula in your own powerboat to view the world’s smallest and rarest Hector’s dolphins in their natural habitat, bird colonies around the coastline and other wildlife. (Private charter – max 6-8 guests – Nov to Jun only) 

    Alternative Option: swimming with the dolphins – we take a cruise with only 12 swimmers per vessel – Oct to Apr only

    Spend the rest of the day exploring the hiking trails, take part in a farm to table cooking session with the chef or gathering local seafood off the rocks right by your lodge for barbeque.

  • Day 06 - Banks Peninsula / Minerat Station
    This morning, take a helicopter and fly across the Canterbury Plains via braided rivers and farmlands to Mt. Cook. Land on a glacier and enjoy a gourmet alpine picnic in a secluded spot before heading over to West Coast past Franz Josef glacier to arrive at Minerat Station.

  • Day 07 - Minerat Station
    Minaret Station is located at Lake Wanaka, surrounded by the Southern Alps with picturesque glacial valley and untouched landscapes. Take a guided walk in the 50,000 acre working farm, home to some 10,000 deer, 7,000 sheep and 1,000 cattle and take the spectacular view of the alpine valley, stream and waterfalls.

  • Day 08 - Minerat Station / Queenstown
    Board your helicopter and fly to Glenorchy for your half-day exhilarating wilderness jet boat adventure on Dart River and experience a unique combination of breathtaking “World Heritage” scenery and Maori heritages in the pristine Dart River Valley and spectacular Mt Aspiring National Park. (Join-in basis)

    Overnight: Matakauri Lodge or Blanket Bay

  • Day 09 - Queenstown
    We have a full day to explore Fiordland, an area of spectacular beauty. Native forests, glacial hewn valleys, towering mountains and primeval scenery have earned this area world heritage status. Take off for an exclusive helicopter flight over the Alps and glacial lakes before descending into Milford Sound. Then wind your way up or down to the remote and rugged coastline of the Tasman Sea and discover fjords and beaches accessible only by helicopter, before entering Doubtful Sound, “the Sound of Silence” being the deepest of the fjords and only 50km from the nearest inhabited place. (Duration: 6 hours)

  • Day 10 - Queenstown
    Have the day at leisure to explore the Southern Lakes, play golf in the world-class golf course, visit the wine regions and art galleries, or simply enjoy leisure time at the lodge.

  • Day 11 - Queenstown / Singapore
    Transfer to airport for your flight home.
