  • Day 01 – Singapore / Xiamen
    Fly Singapore/Xiamen MI 922 0810/1220 – Daily

    Upon arrival in Xiamen, be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half day tour to Gulangyu Island, 5-minute-ferry ride away from Xiamen city, which is also the home of music. On the island, you will visit the Shuzhuang Garden and Piano Museum which displays classic famous pianos collected from all over the world. Return to Xiamen city late in the afternoon.

  • Day 02 – Xiamen / Tulou Area

    After breakfast, we drive 3 hours to Yongding, Hakka people’s area to explore their amazing earth houses and folk customs. In layout, the houses are round, square or round and nested together with high and thick walls and lived by hundreds of families. In this way, residents have a better ability to protect themselves from outside invasions. This area has about 300 round houses and 4000 square houses. We will visit the famous Chengqi Lou- King of the House, Yongding Hakka Cultural Village including Zhencheng Lou - Prince of the Hakka House, Fuyu Lou, Quijv Lou - Potala Style House and Rusheng Lou - the smallest earth house. Then pass over the mountain and enter Shuyang Town of Nanjing to visit the Tianluokeng Earth House Cluster which is nicknamed by local people “Four Dishes and One Soup” and Yuchang Lou - the oldest and biggest of its type.

    Stay tonight in Weiqun Lou in Taxia Village to experience the local life (or drive one hour to Xiayang, stay in Capital of Hakka Hot Spring Resort).

  • Day 03 – Tulou Area / Xiamen

    In the morning, we will visit Hegui Lou - a square-shaped earth house and the highest of all houses, Huaiyuan Lou and the beautiful Changjiao Ancient Village with hundred-year-old banyan tree, cheery clear stream and ancient small gravel village paths.

    Then we drive 2 hours back to Xiamen. Enjoy half day city tour to the Jimei Schools, the beautiful Marathon Road - Island Ring Road.

  • Day 04 – Xiamen / Singapore

    Free at leisure in the morning; be transferred to the airport for the flight back to Singapore.

    One day extension to Quanzhou

    Quanzhou, the start point of the Silk Road on the sea, one of the first groups ratified as History and Culture City by the State Council. Here you can see the oldest mosque in China - Qingliang Si and the biggest Temple in China history.

    We drive about 1 ½ hours (108km) to Quanzhou and visit the biggest temple in China history - Kaiyuan Si, the nearby East and West Pagoda, said to be one of the best preserved stone pagodas in China. We will also visit Maritime Museum. When time allows, enjoy shopping on the Tumen Street before we drive back to Xiamen to overnight.
