  • Day 01 - Singapore / Colombo
    Fly Singapore / Colombo SQ 466 0850/1005 (3h45min) – Wed/Fri/Sat

    Upon arrival, be met and transfer to your hotel.

    In the late afternoon, proceed on a Colombo walking tour with Mark Forbes and his team to experience colonial and post-colonial sites in Colombo.  

  • Day 02 - Colombo / Anuradhapura

    After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for your charter helicopter (about 1 hour) to Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Once a capital of great civilization, it was overtaken by the jungle for a thousand years. Tour the ancient city this afternoon by bicycle, visiting the stupas of Ruwanweliseya, Abayagiri and Jethavana as well as the Samadhi Buddha statue and sacred “Bo” Tree.

  • Day 03 - Anuradhapura

    The day is free for you to enjoy your resort.

  • Day 04 - Anuradhapura / Sigiriya / Hill Country

    After breakfast, drive about an hour to Dambulla Cave Temple, a vast isolated rock mass which is later converted to a rock temple.

    Proceed to visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Sigiriya Rock Fortress.  Perhaps Sri Lanka’s most famous heritage site, Sigiriya is a huge, solitary rock and on its summit are the remains of a palace, built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century AD.

    From Sigiriya, board your charter helicopter and fly over the iconic sights and arrive at the hill country.

  • Day 05 - Hill Country

    This morning, visit a working tea factory and plantation to learn about how the green gold is produced, from picking to processing to grading. Complete the experience with a tea tasting session and pluck some tea leaves if you wish!

    Have the remainder of the day to enjoy the lush surrounds of your environment.

    Optional: Hike or cycle among the tea bushes and observe the lifestyle of tea pluckers.

  • Day 06 - Hill Country / Tangalle

    Enjoy another morning at your tea estate. Take your charter helicopter (about 30 mins) and fly towards the azure coastline of Koggala Lake.

    Transfer to Amanwella and the rest of the day is free to enjoy the resort and the beach.

  • Day 07 - Tangalle

    In the early morning, enjoy a private Whale and Dolphin Cruise in Mirissa (an hour’s drive from Tangalle). Sperm and blue whale sightings as well as spinner dolphins are frequently sighted during season. 

    The rest of the afternoon is free to relax.

  • Day 08 - Tangalle / Galle / Colombo / Singapore

    Depart and drive to the historic Galle Fort. Galle Fort is a UNESCO site is an atmospheric ‘old town’ of Dutch colonial buildings, with small restaurants, boutiques and bookshops. Enjoy a walking tour with a local specialist guide, a 4th generation resident of Galle from the Moor community.

    Spend the rest of the time exploring Galle Fort with a wash and change room; then transfer to the airport (2 hours) directly for your flight at night.
