Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Singapore/ Tokyo/ Kushiro/ Akan
    Fly Singapore/Haneda-Tokyo NH 844 2220/0600+1
      Tokyo/Kushiro NH 4771 0740+1/0920+1 – Daily (10h)


    Upon arrival, drive to Hosooka observation deck to view the spectacular Kushiro Marsh where you can witness Hokkaido deer, white-tailed sea eagle and Japanese cranes (winter only).

    Head to Washo Market – with Japan’s largest fish catch and try a “katte- don” – buy a bowl of rice and select your seafood items from different shops.

    Drive to Lake Akan – surrounded by ancient old forests. Check into your luxury ryokan. Enjoy your traditional kaiseki multi-course dinner in one of Hina’s exclusive private tatami mat rooms.

  • Day 02 - Akan

    After breakfast, drive to the scenic Lake Mashu, - one of the most transparent lakes in the world! Then, visit Mt Iou – an active volcano also known as the Naked Mountain. Stop by Lake Kussharo – one of Japan’s largest mountain lakes with its hot-spring waters right on the beach.

  • Day 03 - Akan/ Tokachigawa Onsen

    Today, drive towards Ikeda Wine Castle – where Tokachi wine, one of the local specialties of Ikeda Town. Learn about the cultivation of grapes and the wine-making processes.

    Continue to Tokachigawa Onsen - with a unique moor hot spring that deposited deep in the ground and with lots of organic matters contained. Enjoy a dinner creative Japanese cuisine made of premium Hokkaido in the Shunju Dining Room – with an open kitchen!

  • Day 04 - Tokachigawa Onsen/ Chitose/ Otaru

    Today, visit Tokachigaoka Observation Deck with panoramic view of the Tokachi River, Tochigawa hot spring river, vast Tokachi Plains and the faraway Hidaka Mountains.

    Have lunch in Chitose city and have a tour of the Sapporo Beer Factory for an insight into beer and brewing. Go on to Otaru, a historical seaside port town facing the Ishikari-wan Bay.

  • Day 05 Otaru

    Visit the Tanaka Sake Brewery, enjoy excellent sakes tasting session. Have a hand at sushi making and prepare your our own sushi rolls for lunch. Go on a walk through famous Otaru canals and explore all the original stone-built warehouses.

  • Day 06 - Otaru/ Lake Toya

    Visit the Nikka whisky factory, one of Japan's top whisky makers, which has its main distillery in Yoichi – the Kingdom of Fruit where grapes grown on this rich land become wine!

    Enjoy lunch in Occhigabi Winery. Drive on to visit Niseko Milk Kobo for delicious sweets made out of fresh high quality organic milk from their farm.

    Enjoy dinner at the 3 Michelin starred restaurant in Windsor hotel, Michael Bras Toya Japan – serving French cuisine using Hokkaido’s fresh produce.

  • Day 07 - Lake Toya

    Take a visit to Lake Toya, a caldera lake surrounded on all sides by wooded hills.  Then, take the Usuzan Ropeway for panoramic views of Lake Toya and neighboring Showa Shinzan.

    Take in the panoramic view of the lake, the Nakajima Isles, and Mt. Showa-shinzan, Mt. Usu, the volcanic fume from Nishiyama crater, Lake Toya Hot Spring district at the Sairo Observation Deck. Make a stop at Lake Hill Toya and taste some of the best home-made ice cream in Hokkaido.

    Go on horse- trek through the woods. Return to your resort and enjoy the spa and stone sauna.

  • Day 08 - Toya/ Noboribetsu Onsen/ Chitose/ Singapore

    Leave Lake Toya today toward Noboribetsu – the most popular spa towns in Hokkaido. We will visit the sulphurous boiling pond known as Jigokudani or Hell Valley.

    Enjoy lunch in Shiraoi, best known for its Wagyu BBQ houses. Spend some time in the outlets or at leisure, before being transferred for your flight home.
