Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Singapore / Helsinki / Tallinn
    Fly Singapore/Helsinki AY 82 2355/0635+1 – Daily ( 12h )

    Be met by your English speaking driver and transfer to the Helsinki city center.

    You can choose to enjoy 2 hours city tour covering the most important sights or take a relaxing stroll in the city and enjoy breakfast in one of the café’s.

    Then transfer to the pier and embark for ferry journey crossing the Baltic Sea and arriving directly to Tallinn.

    Be transferred to your hotel for check-in, before departing to your walking and tasting tour of the 13th century UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site listed Old Town. Enjoy the must see sights of Old Town while making interesting food stops in the medieval tavern and enjoying local wine in a secret terrace. 

    End your tour to explore the Old Town walls and towers, visit the Kiek in de Kök hidden tunnels underneath the old bastions of Toompea Hill, before returning to your hotel.

  • Day 02 - Tallinn

    This morning, visit the Seaplane Harbour Museum. The Museum is located in the aeroplane harbour in a building originally constructed as a hangar for seaplanes in the area of Peter the Great's Naval Fortress in 1916-1917. Submarine Lembit was hauled out of the water to become the center piece of the new maritime museum. One of the most enthralling exhibits at the Seaplane Harbour is the full-size replica of the British seaplane Short 184.

    Afternoon, proceed to the TV Tower and admire the views from the height of 170 meters. 

    Visit the Kadriorg Palace, which was constructed in 1720’s and is an excellent example of Baroque architecture. After visiting interiors of the Palace, continue to the Foreign Art Museum of the Kadriorg Palace displays paintings, sculptures, graphic art and applied art of Western Europe and the Russia from the 16th to 20th century.

    Optional: Enjoy 1,5 hours guided visit of the award winning contemporary art museum KUMU.

  • Day 03 - Tallinn / Muhu Island

    Today enjoy leisure morning and free time for shopping. After lunch depart to Muhu Island. Upon your arrival to your 15th century Manor House hotel, enjoy sparkling wine welcome and rest of the day free for leisure. 

    In the evening you may wish to enjoy 1 hour Roman Steam bath or a Muhu wood – burning Sauna.

    A three-course Table d’Hôte dinner will be served in the Restaurant Alexander.

  • Day 04 - Muhu Island

    After breakfast a personal guide and driver are waiting to take you to Koguva, a charming fishing Village and you will visit the museum. A little further on lies the 13th century Muhu stronghold. Visit either the 13th century St. Catherine’s church rising tall with its simple elegance; or to a former Soviet nuclear rocket base, decaying now, hidden in a deep forest.

    Before returning to Pädaste, visit a nearby prehistoric grave field, simple and untouched.

    Enjoy rest of the day free for leisure and relaxation.

  • Day 05 - Muhu Island / Sigulda

    Today drive to Latvia. Along the way stop of lunch at one of the lovely villages or in the seaside town of Parnu.

    Visit the Cesis Castle, which is very significant to the medieval history of the Baltic region and it is one of the best preserved and most dramatic ruined castles in Latvia.

    Arrive to your hotel and enjoy rest of the evening free for leisure in the countryside hotel.

  • Day 06 - Sigulda / Riga

    Take a short drive to Ligatne, where you will take a short tour of the secret Soviet bunker with various paraphernalia of the Soviet era meant to be served as hideout for governing the state in the case of a nuclear war.

    Make a stop at the Turaida and visit the red-brick fairy-tale castle and hear the romantic folk story from your guide.

    Then head to Sigulda and take a stroll to the Gūtmaņala (Gutman’s Cave), the biggest cave in the Baltics. You may wish to climb to the hill and take the cable car over the river valley or visit the Sigulda Castle.

    Continue to Riga and check-in to your hotel. Be met your guide and head for a Sparkling Sunset Canal Cruise, where you will see the city in different perspective with light snacks and bottle of sparkling wine while the sun is setting over the beautiful city of Riga.

    Optional: If you feel active, hop on your kayak and paddle through the canals.

  • Day 07 - Riga

    Today explore the beautiful capital city of Riga. Drive along the central boulevards, passing by the Freedom Monument and Daugava River with its bridges.

    During the walking tour, enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic city, while strolling through the cobble-stone, picturesque streets of the Old Town. Visit the most important sights and end your tour listening the amazing organ music concert at Dome Cathedral.

    Choose one of the options for your afternoon touring:

    1.    Half Day Riga outskirts with Tram

    Leave the old town behind and travel deep into the suburbs by tram. Visit the Moscow district, which once was the Jewish ghetto during the WWII. Explore the area, which is full of history, churches of various styles and faiths and traditional 19th-century working-class wooden homes. During this tour you will discover how the city has changed over the years.

    2.    Half Day Art Noveau Riga

    Art Nouveau area, once home to many of Latvia’s most famous artists, writers, and scholars. You will see why Riga came to be known as one of Europe's leading exponents of the late 19th and early 20th century architectural style of Art Nouveau. Riga boasts greatest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe, which are among the finest and best-preserved in the world.

    3.    Half Day Jurmala Seaside

    Since 19th century Jurmala has been characterized by its wooden architecture, cottage-style buildings and resort centers. Enjoy a stroll in the romantic streets surrounded by wooden cottages and pine trees. Tip your toes to the white-sand at the beautiful beach and take refreshing dip in the Baltic Sea.

  • Day 08 - Riga / Vilnius

    Today continue your Baltic State exploration to Lithuania.

    Your first stop would be Bauska, The Order of Livonian Knights built the fortress near the confluence of the Musa and Memele rivers in 1443. Enjoy a tour in this historical fortress.

    Take a short drive to Rundale Palace, which is another masterpiece of baroque architecture in Baltic States. Take a stroll in the French style gardens, before continuing your journey.

    The Hill of Crosses, is a truly a hill where few hundreds of thousands crosses are placed to represent Christian devotion and a memorial to Lithuanian national identity.

    OPTIONAL 2 NIGHT’S EXTENSION TO LITHUANIA’S SAHARA – CURONIAN SPIT

    Curonian Spit is the 98 km long sand dune peninsula, just a split between Lithuania and Russian Kaliningrad province. This fragile, peaceful ecosystem of pine groves and sand dunes is UNESCO World Heritage Listed. The unique landscape makes it a place for nature-lovers and, being on the migratory path of 20 million birds, a watcher’s delight.

    Upon arrival to Vilnius check-in to your hotel, before proceeding to explore the flavors of the city. With a fascinating fusion of Jewish, Polish, Italian, and Russian influences, Vilnius is a cultural feast of architectural and culinary proportions. Get lost in the narrow streets of the Old Town Vilnius while sampling tasty treats and bold brews from specialty food shops, cafes and bars along the way!

  • Day 09 - Vilnius

    Today return to the Old Town, which is included to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Enjoy a historical walking tour, in the narrow old streets and see numerous pieces of historical heritage.

    Travel to the former capital of Lithuania, Trakai, which is situated on an island middle of the lake. The 14th century red brick castle now houses the Art Museum. The castles of Trakai are the best known works of defensive architecture in Lithuania.

  • Day 10 - Vilnius / Helsinki / Singapore

    Today, enjoy morning free for leisure and shopping. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
