Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Singapore/Reykjavik
    Fly Singapore/London SQ 322 2330/0555+1 (13h 25m) – Daily
      London/Reykjavik BA 800 0745/0950 (3h 5m) – Wed, Fri, Sun

     

    Have the day free at leisure. Alternatively, you may choose to go for an optional city tour of Reykjavik.

    Optional Recommendation: Visit Reykjavik’s spectacular coastline and harbour area including Harpa as well as the Höfdi house and The Pearl. We also visit Reykjavik’s colourful old quarter with its quaint wooden houses and narrow streets

  • Day 02 - Reykjavik / Thrihnukagigur Volcano / Reykjavik

    Ever wondered how the inside of a volcano looks inside? Hike to the entrance before descending into Thrihnukagigur volcano, which erupted 4000 years ago.

    In the afternoon, head to the Blue Lagoon, a unique spa featuring a huge outdoor lagoon filled with geothermal hot water.

  • Day 03 - Reykjavik / Thingvellir / Geysir / Hella

    Visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the few places in the world where you can see the effects of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates pulling apart.

    At Silfra, snorkel between 2 continents in the crystal clear water in the deep fissure. (Note: Option to go for a dive instead)

    Explore the Geysir hot spring area and see Gullfoss waterfalls – the “Golden Falls” where you can witness white water thundering down a 32 meters drop.

  • Day 04 - Hella / Porsmork Canyon Super Jeep / Hella

    Today, we spend the whole day exploring the beautiful Thorsmork National Park, a stunning landscape where glacier tongues pitted with volcanic ash spill down over the jagged peaks of the surrounding mountains.

    Optional Recommendation: Have the option of taking a helicopter ride to the top crater of Eyjafjallajökull Volcano.

  • Day 05 - Hella / South Coast / Jökulsárlón

    Start your adventure along the south coast. The area is quite spectacular with the black sand and hard ocean waves beating the shore of Reynisfjara beach – known as black sand beach. The rock formations of Reynisdrangar are a signature landmark.

    Visit the charming local town Víkí Mýrdal and two of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls; Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss. Proceed to Dyrhólaey; a 120 meter high rock inhabited by numerous types of birds, including the puffin. Make a stop at Sólheimajökull glacier tongue and take a short hike on the ice.

    In the afternoon, we continue to Jökulsárlón.

  • Day 06 - Jökulsárlón / Skaftafell / Reykjavik

    Spend a full day exploring the largest glacier in Europe – Skaftafell.

    We start the day at Cape Ingolfshofdi and embark on the Ingólfshöfði tractor tour to see the puffins.  Next, head east to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and cruise the Jökulsárlón Glacial lagoon on zodiac. Afterwards, fly back to Reykjavík from Höfn.

  • Day 07 - Reykjavik / Singapore

    Today, go on a 1.5-2 hour guided horseback ride (no experience required) on the Icelandic horse.

    Have some time at leisure before transferring to the airport.

    Optional Extension: 4-Night Greenland
    Just over 3 hours away from Iceland is Greenland – a World away! In the remote town of Ilulissat, get familiar with this traditional Greenlandic town north of the Polar Circle and see the floating icebergs on the unique Disco Bay.
     
    Day 07 - Reykjavik / Ilulissat
    This morning, transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Greenland.

     This afternoon, take an afternoon hike to the abandoned settlement Sermermiut and visit the UNESCO designated Ilulissat Icefjord.

    Day 08 - Ilulissat
    Have a full day tour to Eqi Glacier. Cruise and approach the edge of this 50m high, 5km wide glacier and witness it calving.

    Day 09 - Ilulissat
    Today, take a cultural city walk of Ilulissat for an enhanced understanding of the Greenlandic culture and history, and the modern life 300 km north of the Arctic Circle.
    In the afternoon, you can consider the optional activities of a Whale-watching Safari or a Helicopter Trip over the Ilulissat Glacier.

    Tonight, take a midnight sailing among Icebergs.

    Day 10 - Ilulissat / Reykjavik (Or Copenhagen)

    On arrival be met and transferred to your hotel.
