  • Day 01 - Singapore / Rome / Palermo
    Fly Singapore / Rome SQ 366 0110/0720 – Tue/Fri/Sun (13h 10m)
      Rome / Palermo AZ 1785 1000/1110 – Daily (1h 10m)
     
    Upon arrival, be met and transfer to your hotel. Enroute, visit Monreale, famous for its beautiful position overlooking the city of Palermo. 
    This afternoon, enjoy a tour of Palermo - one of the World’s most splendid cities with its unique and charming Afro, Arab and Italian blend of architecture. Visit the old town of the city.

  • Day 02 - Palermo / Cefalu / Palermo
    This morning, embark on a walking street food tour through the main squares and street markets of the city centre to sample the best and authentic Palermitan street food.

     

    After lunch, drive to Cefalù, a former fishing village with a beautiful setting. Here, visit the Romanesque Cathedral and the museum that houses Antonello’s masterpiece of “Portrait of an Unknown Man”.

  • Day 03 - Palermo: Segesta, Erice & Marsala excursion

    This morning, drive to Segesta to admire the Temple and Theatre. Afterwards, arrive to the medieval village of Erice perched on the top of a hill, and walk along the tiny and characteristic streets. Continue to Trapani and see working salt windmills before arriving at Marsala town and visit a wine cellar and estate for wine tasting.

  • Day 04 - Palermo / Agrigento
    Today, we travel to Agrigento. Enroute to Agrigento, take a short break at Scala dei Turchi, a unique beach known for their chalky white cliff.

    Continue to Agrigento and explore the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

  • Day 05 - Agrigento / Taormina

    Leave Agrigento today and drive to the interior of Sicily to Villa Romana in Piazza Armerina, well known for its 63 room-villa built in Roman times in splendid mosaics.

    End your day in Taormina and take a city tour. From the Greek theatre, you will be able to see a blend of architectural influences of old Greek, Roman and Etna. Visit the Palazzo Corvaja, which represents several different architectural styles: Arab, Gothic and Norman.

  • Day 06 - Taormina

    Today, we take a morning excursion to the volcano Etna, known as the active volcano in Europe at 3340 meters. Midway, ascend by cable car (weather permitting). Arrive at the crater to admire the views and the activity at the crater in a safe zone.

    In the afternoon, have some time free at leisure. 

    OPTIONAL: HALF DAY BAY OF TAORMINA PRIVATE CRUISE
    Depart to the famous Beautiful Island known as the pearl of the Ionian Sea, the Blue Grotto, the cave of love and the rock of the prickly pear.

    OPTIONAL: HELICOPTER AERIAL VIEW OF MT ETNA (20 mins)

  • Day 07 - Taormina: Noto & Siracusa excursion

    Today, we drive to Eastern Sicily to visit Siracusa - one of the great ancient capital of Western civilization. Visit the Neapolis Archaeological Park, as well as Ortigia, well known for the ruins of the earliest Greek constructions. Afterwards, we make our way to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Noto, a grand ancient baroque town.

    Return to Taormina.

  • Day 08 - Taormina / Catania / Singapore

    Depart Taormina to Catania (1 hour drive) and catch your flight back home.

    EXTENSION: 1 night in Taormina to visit the Aeolian Islands

    Embark on a minicruise to discover the Aeolian Islands, which is an archipelago in the north of Sicily, famous for the lush nature and the Mediterranean architecture. Visit 2 islands today, Vulcano and Lipari. (Recommended summer season from mid May to end October; cruise is on join-in basis with private guide). 

    Overnight: Taormina

    EXTENSION: 5 Days Malta Treasures

    Day 07 - Taormina: Noto & Siracusa excursion/ Malta 
    After the excursion, drive to 1.5 hours to Catania for your flight to Malta.

    Fly Catania / Malta KM 643 2110/2150 (40mins) – Mon and Thu

    Upon arrival, be met and transfer (20mins) to your hotel.

    Day 08 - Valletta/ Mdina/ Hagar QIM/ Valletta

    In the morning, we embark on a city tour of Valletta - a city built by the Knights of St John and a masterpiece of the baroque.  Visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens as well as the famous church of the knights, the Co-Cathedral of St. John. Some other notable stops include the famous Oratory Museum and if time permits, the Grand Master’s Palace Armoury of the Knights. 

    Proceed on a 25mins drive to the ancient capital city of Mdina, a walled town build by the Arabs in 870 and which once was also a Roman City. The Cathadrel of Mdina and its museum will be visited.  

    Afterwards drive to Hagar Qim Temples & Mnajdra Temples. We will visit the temples, one of the oldest freestanding buildings in the world dating back to 2500 B.C.

    Overnight: Valletta or St Julians

    Day 09 - Valletta/ Hypogeum/ Marsaxlokk/Three Cities/ Valletta

    Today, we make a trip to the magnificent and the famous Hypogeumthe only known prehistoric underground temple in the world.

    We will then continue with our tour towards the picturesque Marsaxlokk bay with its vivid traditional colours for a walking tour of this village, rich in many Maltese traditions. 

     

    Afterwards, drive to the Three Cities of Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua. Visit the Church of St Lawrence, the original church of the Knights of St. John as well as the Inquisitor’s Palace located in Vittoriosa.

    Day 10 - Excursion to Gozo 

    After an early breakfast we drive to Cirkewwa and take a 30mins ferry crossing to Gozo.  Visit the oldest free standing megalithic structures in the world, known as Ggantija Temples and the stunning Calypso Cave. We make a stop at the Fontana Cottage where you can sample local delicacies. 

    After lunch we continue our tour with a visit to the main town on Gozo, Victoria and The Citadel. The Citadel is a small fortified city that dominates the heights above Victoria.

    Day 11 - Malta/ Rome/ Singapore

    Transfer to the airport for your flight.
